Cashless Cruising
Your Cruise Card
We take all the stress out of paying your bill with cashless cruising! All onboard expenses are charged to your personalised cruise card, allowing you to sign for all your onboard purchases. Your cruise card also acts as your room key plus security pass to leave and re-board the ship at ports of call.
You can charge all onboard expenses to your Cruise Card by:
- Linking your credit or debit card to your Cruise Card.
We accept Visa, MasterCard and American Express. You can link your card when you check-in at the terminal. By electing to use your credit or debit cards, you are automatically registered for Express Check-Out. This means there is no need to visit Reception to settle your account. An itemised statement will be delivered to your room on the morning of disembarkation. Too easy! - Depositing cash onto your Cruise Card at Reception onboard or using the Cash Kiosks onboard
- Transferring funds from your bank account to your Cruise Card using the Cash Kiosks onboard
Please note that the currency used onboard is Australian dollars (AU$).
Linking your Cruise Card
If you link your cruise card to your credit/debit card, we will settle the outstanding balance on your onboard account to your credit or debit card at the end of each day in Australian Dollars. The card registered must have the name of the guest printed on the card and this must match the name of the guests photo ID used to embark the ship. Service fees apply to all onboard credit card transactions. The service fee for Visa and MasterCard transactions is 1.1%. For American Express the service fee is 2.75%. There is no fee for debit card transactions or pre paid cash passport Visa and MasterCard transactions. Service fees are subject to change and will be advised onboard
Onboard Spending Money (Onboard Credit)
If you booked on an offer that included onboard spending money, this will be a monetary amount in Australian dollars added to your onboard account. Any unused amount will expire at the end of your cruise, and is not redeemable for cash at any time.
If you added onboard spending money to your onboard account, any unused amount over $50 will automatically be refunded. Amounts under $50 will be donated to a P&O Pacific Partnership charity partner unless you advise us otherwise.
Onboard credit cannot be used at the Casino.
We've got your back
It's not the end of the world if your cruise card is lost or stolen. Report it to reception immediately we'll cancel your old card and issue you a brand new one. An important thing to note, until you report your card as lost or stolen, you're responsible for any transactions made on your card.
