Our updated P&O Assurance policy is designed to provide you with maximum peace of mind and flexibility when booking your next cruise holiday. Whether you’re already booked or planning your next dream cruise, rest assured you can book with confidence with P&O Cruises.
For cruises departing on or before 30 November 2022 and booked prior to 18 October 2022, cancel your cruise 76 days or more prior to sailing with zero cancellation fees and receive a full refund of the paid cruise fare.
If your plans change, cancel your cruise 15 or more days prior to departure and you will be eligible to receive a Future Cruise Credit* for your cancellation fees.
To further provide peace of mind, if you are suspected to be a close contact of someone with COVID-19, test positive to COVID-19 or government restrictions impact your cruise plans you can receive a Future Cruise Credit for your cancellation fees.*

Covid-19 Assurance
New protocols have been developed for guests who are suspected or testing positive for COVID-19 onboard.
Onboard Protocols
If you test positive to COVID-19 onboard you’re eligible to receive:
- Free COVID-19 related testing/assessments onboard
- A Future Cruise Credit to the value of the missed per day cruise fare based on the number of days in isolation

Back Home
If you test positive for COVID-19 during your cruise you will be assigned a dedicated Family Assistance Officer after your cruise. If needed, we can provide care and logistical support for:
- Travel arrangements to return home
- Company arranged land-based quarantine and meals

Terms and Conditions
The P&O Assurance Program (“P&O Assurance”) is available for P&O Cruises Australia voyages scheduled to depart on or before 30 November 2022 and booked prior to 18 October 2022. Future Cruise Credit (FCC) issued under this program can only be used towards the payment of the cruise fare on bookings with P&O Cruises Australia for departures on and before the Sail By Date as specified in My Account. Any unused amount of FCC will expire by the Book By date as specified in My Account. The Sail By Date and Book By Date will be based on when the cancellation was made, as outlined in the FAQs above. FCC are subject to the relevant fare conditions and applicable cancellation terms as set out in our Booking & Travel Conditions. FCC is not transferable and not redeemable for cash. Please note you do not need to have cruised by this date, only made a booking. This program is not an insurance product and is not intended to replace insurance; P&O Cruises Australia recommends all guests obtain international travel insurance. P&O Cruises Australia reserves the right to revoke any of the goodwill benefits provided in this program in the event of discovery of false information or fraud from the guest and travelling party.
