Teresa Lloyd inducted into the Maritime Hall of Fame at the DCN Shipping & Maritime Awards Night.
Carnival Australia is proud to announce that Teresa Lloyd - Chief Strategy and External Affairs Officer, has been inducted into the Maritime Hall of Fame. The prestigious award is in recognition of her outstanding contribution to Australia’s maritime industry and was presented to Ms Lloyd at the DCN Australia Shipping & Maritime Industry Awards in Melbourne earlier this month.
In accepting the award, Ms Lloyd said it is a great honour to be inducted into the Hall of Fame: “It has been an absolute privilege to lead the maritime industry in this country for the past 20 years in my previous role as CEO of Maritime Industry Australia Ltd. My commitment to the maritime industry is as steadfast as ever, and I look forward to continuing to do all I can to support the industry.”
Ms. Lloyd began her career as a naval architect before managing Technical Services for Western Australia’s Port Hedland, Port Authority. She moved back to her home State of Victoria to work on a National Ballast Water Demonstration Project on behalf of the Government before leading Maritime Industry Association Limited in 2008. She joined Carnival Australia as Chief Strategy and External Affairs Officer in June this year.
