An update on cruises calling into Vanuatu

Monday, March 16, 2015

Vanuatu has been devastated by the affects of Cyclone Pam. Vila was hard hit, and for the moment cannot accept cruise ship visits. Pacific Dawn's current cruise, W511, will not be calling to Vila. Instead, Pacific Dawn will remain in Noumea overnight, and depart at 5pm on Tuesday afternoon. The call to Lifou will now be on Wednesday 18 March.

In consultation with local authorities we are keen to resume calls to Vila as soon as possible, with cruise ship visits vital to the Vanuatu economy. We will let our guests and travel agents know when we are in a position to resume calls to Vila. We will also be in touch with guests and travel agents if there are any changes to cruise itineraries departing in the coming weeks.

Thank you for your patience and understanding in the meantime.
