Do I need a visa to visit Tonga (Nuku alofa, Vava'u)?

Many nationalities, including Australian and New Zealand passport holders, do not require a visa to visit Tonga. If you do not hold an Australian or New Zealand passport, you should confirm your visa requirements by contacting the Tongan consulate.

When travelling on a cruise that visits Tonga, you must be in possession of a passport that is valid for a minimum of six months beyond end of the cruise. If your passport expires before this time, you will be denied boarding.
