Do I need a visa to visit Papua New Guinea (Alotau, Conflict Islands, Kiriwina Island, Rabaul)?
All guests must print and complete the Incoming Passenger Declaration Form and present it at check-in. This is a requirement for all guests, and all guests will be issued with free electronic visa upon arrival to Papua New Guinea.
A Quarantine fee of PKG20.00 (approx. AU$10.00) will be added to the onboard account of each guest. No other visa fee will apply. We will advise you should these visa requirements change prior to your cruise.
If you are not using an Australian or New Zealand passport for this cruise, you must have a valid visa to return to Australia. Please ensure you bring a printed copy of your approved return tourist or Australian resident visa to check-in. For more information please visit the Australian Department of Immigration and Citizenship website: https://immi.homeaffairs.gov.au/visas/getting-a-visa/visa-finder and please allow at least 1 month to apply for a tourist visa. Those guests who do not present a valid visa to return to Australia at check-in may be denied boarding.
When travelling on a cruise that visits Papua New Guinea, you must be in possession of a passport that is valid for a minimum of six months beyond end of the cruise. If your passport expires before this time, you will be denied boarding.
