Do I need a visa to visit Malaysia?

If you are an Australian or New Zealand passport holder, you do not require a visa to visit Malaysia.

If you do not hold an Australian or New Zealand passport, you contact the nearest consulate or a visa service to determine whether you will need to obtain a visa in advance of your cruise. If a visa is required, you must apply in person for a visa prior to the start of cruise. You may be denied boarding if they are not in possession of a valid visa at check in, as you will not be permitted to enter in Malaysia.

When travelling on a cruise that visits Malaysia, you must be in possession of a passport that is valid for a minimum of six months beyond end of the cruise. If your passport expires before this time, you will be denied boarding.
