Can I pre register my credit/debit card for my onboard purchases?


Yes, you can pre-register your credit/debit card for your onboard Purchases via Cruise Control. Login to Cruise Control and complete your ‘Check-In’ under the ‘Embarkation’ process click ‘Link your Credit or Debit card to your Cruise Card’. Enter your card details, That easy!

For guests booked on Carnival operated cruises departing from 29 March 2025 onwards you will still be able to manage their cruise through Cruise Control but will not be able to complete online check-in, including selecting a check-in time or access eTickets. Closer to your departure, Carnival will be in contact with you about how and when you will be able to access and complete Carnival’s online check-in to get your eTickets.

If you choose to register a credit card (Visa, Mastercard or Amex) we will settle the outstanding balance on your onboard account to your credit card or debit card at the end of each day in Australian Dollars. When registering your card, the name must match the name of the guest photo identification card to board the ship. You must also bring your physical card with you to present at check in, as apple pay, and phone wallet are not accepted. Service fees apply to all onboard credit card transactions. 1.1% for Visa and Mastercard and 2.75% for Amex. There is no fee for debit card transactions. Pre-paid cards and reloadable travel cards, such as ‘Load&Go Visa’ and travelex cash passports are not accepted onboard.
