Are there designated smoking areas onboard?

In the interest of the health, safety and enjoyment of all of our guests, smoking is not permitted indoors on any of our P&O Cruises' ships, including in guest rooms and balconies. This includes the use of any electronic cigarettes or vapes, which can only be used in the designated smoking areas.

Each ship has designated outdoor smoking areas, which are signposted and listed in the Good Times newsletter onboard.

Pacific Explorer
Deck 7 - starboard side, forward, open deck
Deck 12 - starboard side, midship, open deck
Deck 14 - port side, aft, adjacent to the Oasis bar

Pacific Adventure
Deck 7 - starboard side open deck - designated areas midship to aft
Deck 15 - aft starboard side (above Oasis)
Deck 16 - midship forward (Above Sky Bar)
Deck 16 - aft starboard side - Designated areas near the Sunset Bar (this area is only available in the evening between 6pm and 6am)

Pacific Encounter
Deck 7 - starboard Side - aft - open deck
Deck 14 - starboard Side - aft - Oasis
Deck 15 - port side - forward - open deck
Deck 16 - aft starboard side - Designated areas near the Sunset Bar (this area is only available in the evening between 6pm and 6am)

Guests are required to be 18 years of age to smoke onboard.
