Take a step back in time to the days of great Pacific Ocean voyages and glide across the crystal-clear waters on a traditionally-build outrigger canoe.
The canoe plays a huge part in the lives of Milne Bay Province locals and up until 2000, these canoes were the main means of transport in the region. Throughout history, they were widely-used in ceremonies and rituals and meticulously crafted from special woods, all under strict custom to derive the best results and appease the gods.
