Traditional Cooking Class

Depart the wharf and drive through the township and up the hill for panoramic photo stop of Alotau. Back in the bus continue onto Masurina Lodge where you will enjoy an arrival drink before heading to the hotel kitchen "back of house" to commence your fun filled cooking class. Get hands on as you are guided by the local chef in preparation for the cooking of the typical traditional clay pot. Whilst you food is cooking you are invited to visit the small but unique private World War II exhibit displayed at the Masurina Lodge. Once lunch is ready it’s time to take a seat in the air conditioning and enjoy the meal you have helped prepare earlier. After lunch, there may be time to swim, use the waterslide, or have a drink at the bar (own expense). Should you wish to stay longer there will be later public shuttles back to the ship.
