Blue Lagoon Swim

Vanuatu's famous and breath-takingly beautiful Blue Hole beckons with water so blue it must be seen to be believed. Pass coconut plantations and quaint villages on a 30-minute scenic bus ride through Santo’s countryside. Surrounded by tropical rainforest, swim in the brilliant blue water at the breath-taking, freshwater Blue Hole. The natural spring is nearly 18 metres deep and the brilliant blue colour comes from the white limestone rocks refracting the sunlight through the clear water. There is plenty of time to swim, explore the surrounding rainforest and relax in this natural oasis. Steps leading down into the lagoon provide easy access to the beautiful water. Souvenirs and handicrafts are available for purchase at the market stalls nearby. Special Notes: • Please wear comfortable flat-soled shoes, clothing suited to the weather conditions, bring a hat, plenty of bio-degradable sunscreen and bottled water. Bring your swimmers and towel • The bus is not air-conditioned • Bring fins, mask and flippers if you wish to snorkel • Change facilities are available at the lagoon • Restroom facilities may be rustic • Don't forget to bring along additional cash for purchases.
