Semi-Sub Reef Exploration

Experience Vanuatu’s colourful coral and inquisitive marine life onboard the custom-built, semi-submersible Reef Explorer vessel. Take in the scenery from the viewing room below deck or dive in for a closer look. Board the Reef Explorer travel through the waters of Port Vila, weaving between the coral reefs before mooring off Iririki Island, where you have the chance to snorkel and hand feed the friendly, inquisitive fish. You’ll likely see parrot fish, butterfly fish, clown fish (Nemo), blue tang (Dory), moorish idols, triggerfish, humbugs, seahorse, damsels, starfish and you might even spot a local turtle. If you don’t feel like diving in, you can take in all the spectacular underwater views from the vessel’s viewing room below deck. Special Notes: • All snorkel equipment is provided onboard the Reef Explorer including noodles and back floaties for kids • Blue Bottles are found occasionally during the summer months • Please wear comfortable flat-soled shoes, clothing suited to the weather conditions, bring a hat, plenty of bio-degradable sunscreen and bottled water
