Board your motorcoach for a short, scenic drive to "The Barge." Along the way you will take in the popular sights, including the culturally rich National Museum and the Parliament building, built in 1992 by the Chinese. In the front, a bronze statue featuring a Ni-Vanuata family proudly stands.
When you reach "The Barge," climb aboard this open-air pontoon-style vessel and get ready for a wonderful scenic cruise. The atmosphere is fun and relaxed and there is plenty of room to move around. The cruise includes numerous photo opportunities as you pass the luxury homes of Tassiriki, the tropical rainforest, coastline resorts and friendly local folks paddling alongside in their canoes.
Your two-hour narrated cruise travels along the entire lagoon, affording magnificent vistas of the island. The spirited Captain and his first mate will share Port Vila's history as well as local stories and the island's intriguing folklore.
