Ano Beach Cultural Experience

Witness and enjoy the island style of baking Tongan Food in an earth oven. A traditional welcome ceremony will be conducted to experience and even participate in a Kava Ceremony which is followed by traditional songs and dances. Watch live demonstrations of Tapa cloth making, mat weaving, and magic fire, all while being entertained in typical Polynesian style, under the coconut trees by the beach. To finish the experience, a variety of tropical fruits are served while being entertained with traditional Tonga dances. Special Notes: Dress appropriately for being in a beach environment. Extra water is recommended. Local buses are used for transportation. These buses are very basic and have neither air-conditioning nor microphones.
