Western Battlefield Tour
Western Battlefield tour provides the opportunity for guests to visit the Western Battlefield sites from the Battle of Guadalcanal. It will take the guests to the significant iconic sites of the Second World War beginning with tour to the Skyline US Memorial where, the commemoration of the US navy occurs during their annual anniversary. It will then take guests to Jacob Vouza Monument, a local who played a significant role in the victory of the Americans during the Second World War. From the monument, the guests will continue on their venture to the Outdoor Vilu Museum, where they will see the different war relics from both the Japanese and the Americans. On their way back, they will stop over at Mbonege, where guests will see what is remain of the Hirokawa Maru one of the 11 Japanese transports that was attacked on their way to Guadalcanal.
