New Caledonia

Pacific charm, French flavour

Pacific charm is infused with a delightful French flavour.

Baguettes and beaches seems like a strange mix, doesn’t it? Not in New Caledonia. With bright blue waters and beautiful landscapes, New Caledonia is called the jewel of the Pacific for a reason. But it’s much more than an astonishingly beautiful aquatic wonderland. It’s a truly diverse destination just waiting to be explored. There are four ports of call when you visit New Caledonia with P&O and we’ll take you on an island hopping adventure. From caves and corals to French cafes, there’s a whole new world to discover above the surface and a universe to explore when you dive under the azure water.

Zika Virus Update

Zika virus is transmitted via mosquito bites but it is thought that contracting it during pregnancy could be associated with a higher incidence of birth abnormalities. The virus has been reported in a number of countries including Tonga. We suggest you be aware of simple steps to protect yourself including wearing loose fitting shirts and pants and packing personal insect repellent (containing DEET, picardin KBR 3023, Oil of Lemon Eucalyptus/PMD, or IR353) for your cruise.
