Cruise across the crystal clear waters of Muri Lagoon on the eastern side of Rarotonga in a comfortable glass-bottom boat as a local string band entertains you. From your vantage point on the boat you can survey a rich variety of marine life, including many colourful tropical fish of varying sizes and shapes that abound among the coral outcrops that reside in the lagoon. View the miniature black pearl farm and giant paua (abalone) located in the vicinity of the marine-protected lagoon. Explore this underwater world up close as you enjoy an opportunity to snorkel with the marine life. From there, cruise to pristine Koromiri, a tiny uninhabited island within the lagoon where you can explore safely at your leisure or continue snorkelling and swimming. Enjoy a tasty seafood lunch before your local guide treats you to a tree climbing show and a coconut-husking demonstration.
Take an underwater camera for photos of stunning aquatic life or your normal camera for tropical scenes.
