Take a scenic drive along Wellington Harbour’s magnificent coastline that has claimed many shipwrecks and is dotted with quaint villages and quiet bays. From Wellington you will follow the harbour past Petone, where Wellington’s first settlers landed. Your coach will climb the rugged hills to reach Pencarrow Station situated at the entrance to the harbour. Stop to enjoy the Kiwi-style hospitality at the magnificently located Pencarrow Lodge. Here, you will be treated to a farm dog demonstration, a talk about the property itself plus morning or afternoon tea. Enjoy the scenery and make sure to bring a camera on this tour. Continue on to see Wellington’s hidden lakes, New Zealand’s oldest lighthouse and historic Maori sites.
The stunning nature of this coastal scenery provides many opportunities for even the most novice of photographers.
