Departing from your ship, this tour will travel past some of the city’s most famous icons before heading out to New Zealand’s largest Wind Farm. Get right up to the towering 111m turbines, harnessing the wind to generate clean, renewable electricity. Stop for refreshments at a real wild Seal Colony where you can get up close and personal with the New Zealand fur seal. Travel to Terawhiti Farm, one of New Zealand’s largest farms and learn about the fascinating history of the area. Learn about the gold mining history of Wellington and snap a photo of one of the 3,000 wild goats on the farm. The day is complete with a visit to the leaning lighthouse, a Wellington landmark, usually only seen from the Cook Strait Ferry.
