Natures Wonders Naturally

Spend your day on spectacular Otago Peninsula on the Reid family farm to see New Zealand fur seals and spotted shags. Meet your guide, run through safety procedures and then join on an exhilarating cross country tour on an eight wheel drive, all-terrain Argo vehicle. First stop, the mythical Maori’s Footprint offers panoramic views over the Otago Peninsula. Descending from 189 metres above sea level, view a breeding colony of cormorants nestled on a rugged cliff face rising from the crashing Pacific Ocean below. Next, arrive at a hide for a very close encounter with a breeding colony of New Zealand fur seals. From here take a beach-front ride to a covered, all-weather track leading down to a purpose-built hide on Penguin Beach to hopefully view little blue penguins in their nests.
