Haruru Falls Kayaking
Enjoy a relaxed guided river kayak tour through the Waitangi Estuary and mangrove forest. Paddle up the river to Haruru Falls. The experienced and friendly guides will ensure you are comfortable during your paddle and will regale you with local legends and information about the area. All gear is provided. Make sure to bring your camera so the guides can document your paddling!
Special Notes:
Please wear comfortable flat-soled shoes, clothing suited to the weather conditions, a hat and jacket, plenty of biodegradable sunscreen and bring bottled water. No prior kayaking experience is required. Minimum age is 5
Safety briefing and basic paddling instructions will be provided at the departure site. Meet your guides at Waitangi Beach, just a short walk from the pier and receive instructions in basic paddling techniques. Weight limit of 125kg applies.
