This fully guided wilderness adventure is suitable for all ages with easy walking on established tracks and on the beach. From Auckland, travel to Waitakere Ranges. The Arataki Centre is gateway to the rainforest with breathtaking panoramic views of the whole of the Auckland isthmus with the Pacific Ocean to the east and the Tasman Sea to the west. Drive into the rainforest for an easy bush walk. Your guide will explain the native species as you walk amongst giant tree ferns and hear native birds. Then, visit an unspoilt black sand surf beach and feel the soft sand beneath your feet as you stroll along one of the most awe-inspiring beaches the world has to offer.
