Eco Zip Adventure

Enjoy the stunning sights of Waitemata Harbour on the ferry from Auckland. Take a mini-tour of Waiheke’s wonderful beaches, multi-million dollar properties and myriad boutique wineries en route to the EcoZip Sight, situated on a hillside with commanding views of Auckland, Rangitoto and the Hauraki Gulf. Check-in, gear-up, and get ready for one of New Zealand’s most exciting eco-activities. Three dual ziplines, each over 200 metres long, allow you to fly smoothly and safely side-by-side with a partner or friend over the working vineyard and over and into a stunning tract of original and regenerating native New Zealand bush (forest). You'll be accompanied by expert guides, dedicated to ensuring your enjoyment and safety. At the end of the 3rd zipline, take a spectacular interpretive walk, shaded by a canopy of both regenerating and pre-European forest. The guides will share stories of local flora and fauna, both the Maori and European history of Waiheke, and explain how EcoZip is helping to restore and preserve this Site of Environmental Significance. Special Notes: Please wear comfortable flat-soled shoes, clothing suited to the weather conditions, a hat and jacket, plenty of biodegradable sunscreen and bring bottled water. There is an approximate walk of 500 metre walk to/from the Auckland ferry terminal. Photos taken by your Zip Line crew can be purchased at an additional cost Minimum age: 8 years.
