Billabong Sanctuary & Scenic Sights
Experience the magificent scenery of Townsville and the surrounding areas from Castle Hill (May be substituted on the day), a large granite rise that dominates the cityscape.
View and interact with Australian wildlife at Billabong Sanctuary. Watch crocodiles being hand-fed and lunge for their food. On a gentler note, see, pat and feed kangaroos which roam in the park freely. Or you can pat a koala, hug a wombat and wrap yourself in a python if you wish (additional charge applies). The show also includes a feeding of the abundant birdlife on the billabong, as well as giant eels. Cool off in the swimming pool - don’t worry, it’s not the one with the crocodiles!
