Escaping to the cool of the mountains has been a favoured past time for Sydneysiders for years. This beautiful area of stunning mountain bush is a must see on any visit to Sydney. A Gourmet Lunch at the Coachman Restaurant is also a highlight of this tour.
You will travel through Sydney and out through the Western Suburbs, seeing the impressive Anzac Bridge and the site of the 2000 Olympic Games. When in this area, a visit to the impressive Featherdale Wildlife Sanctuary is a must. Here you will come up close with our favourite friends the Koala and Kangaroo – and can be photographed beside a Koala if you wish. After enjoying some time at the Sanctuary, the tour will continue to the Blue Mountains so you can experience their beauty on the Skyway (or Railway or Cableway) – the choice is yours and it is a thrilling and beautiful experience. Here you can float on air in the recently unveiled Skyway with its world first Electro-Scenic Glass Floor. Ride the steepest incline Railway in the world down to a lush and hidden valley or quietly glide out of the valley aboard the Cableway taking in the breathtaking panorama of the stunning World Heritage Listed Blue Mountains National Park. From here it is then a short journey to Hillcrest Coachman Restaurant for your 2-course lunch.
Bring your camera to capture the friendly animals at Featherdale or the stunning scenery at the Blue Mountains.
A gourmet 2-course lunch is included at Hillcrest Coachman Restaurant, including tea and coffee.
To make your day as enjoyable as possible, please ensure that you wear comfortable flat-soled shoes, clothing suited to the weather conditions, a hat and jacket, and bring along some sunscreen and bottled water.
The program may be done in reverse to accommodate for large numbers.
