Lunch With The Lorikeets & Port Douglas sights

Visit Wildlife Habitat, Australia’s leading environmental wildlife rescue program, for an animal encounter like no other. On arrival to Wildlife Habitat you will have the chance to sit down to a casual lunch with brightly coloured, feisty Lorikeets. There’s a good chance you’ll also be joined by cockatoos, curlews, parrots, herons, and more as they fly and roam freely. Trust us when we say, lunch has never been so fun, or so wild! After lunch, you’ll have free time to explore Wildlife Habitat. Hand feed and pat the friendly kangaroos and wallabies and visit the Wetland Habitat area where you’ll see cute koalas. There’s a Rainforest Habitat area that’s home to the large, flightless cassowary bird, which is classified as endangered. You’ll also see freshwater crocodiles and the larger estuarine crocodiles. And for those who are feeling especially brave, purchase a souvenir photo holding one of the small crocodiles or a snakes!
