See the Officer’s Quarters and ‘The Dog Line’ where savage dogs once guarded the isthmus to prevent convicts escaping from Port Arthur. Depending on conditions, next stop is Devil’s Kitchen or Tasman Arch, both marvels of nature where over the years, softer layers of rock has been eroded by the waves, leaving the stronger top layers withstanding. Continue on to the dramatic Blow Hole. The final stop is Pirates Bay Lookout for stunning views over the beautiful white sand beach, blue water and rugged rocky cliffs. Special Notes: - Guests will need to walk approx. 5-10 mins from the tender arrival point to the coach departure point. The walk is over uneven ground with a slight incline to reach the Visitor Centre. - Please wear comfortable flat-soled shoes, clothing suited to the weather conditions, a hat and jacket, plenty of biodegradable sunscreen and bring bottled water. - The decision on which of the geological features will be visited, either Tasman Arch or Devil's Kitchen, is dependent upon weather conditions on the day and is at the discretion of the guide.
