Take the opportunity to sample some of Newcastle's finest ales on a scenic pub tour. Travelling from the pier with a friendly host you'll make your way to a number of favourite local venues. Here you can join the locals for a nice cold beer or a glass of wine and soak up the atmosphere. You'll also get a great photo opportunity from the Sheppard's Hill lookout. Grab a bunch of friends and enjoy the day! First stop is Pippi’s Hotel located on the shores of beautiful Lake at Speers Point to enjoy a complimentary house beer, wine or soft drink. Take in the gorgeous views before heading off for the Gunyah Hotel at Belmont where you'll have plenty of time to savour the flavour of this great location. Next, travel to Merewether Surf House, where scenic drinks can be enjoyed atop the venue’s picturesque deck. You can choose to alight the tour for an optional drop off at the Queens Wharf brewery (beverages available at own expense) on the edge of the Newcastle harbour (guests must make their own way back to the pier) or return directly to the pier.
