Port Stephens Dolphin Watching Cruise

Port Stephens on Nelson Bay is often described as the “Dolphin Capital of Eastern Australia” - its inner harbor is home to a resident population of 165 bottlenose dolphins. Take a cruise around the harbor to view the Nelson Bay dolphins along with Port Stephens other residents including sea turtles and pelicans. Tea and coffee is served on departure. The vessel features three open observation decks with 360-degree views. On the return journey a boom net is lowered into the water and guests young and old alike can ride in the vessel's wake and take a trip down the slide into the net below. Don't forget your swimmers and a towel! Back at the harbour enjoy free time to explore the local precinct. There's a playground for the kids, lots of local souvenir shops and plenty of waterfront restaurants, cafe's and pubs to grab a bite to eat. Take a wander up the main street and you'll discover more lunch options, shops and plenty to see and do.
