The best way to see the local sights is at your own pace so jump aboard a coaster for a hop on / hop off tour to take in the attractions of the local Newcastle region. The hop on / hop off service coasters are scheduled every 15 mins giving you the flexibility to stay as long as you like at each location. Stop 1. Honeysuckle Harbourside Precinct- From this stop there is easy access to the Newcastle Museum, Maritime Centre, visitor information centre and a wide selection of harbour side restaurants and licenced venues to explore. Stop 2. Nobbys Beach Reserve- From here you can visit the Nobbys Breakwall and Lighthouse for great photo opportunities, Nobbys Beach, Foreshore Park and Fort Scratchley. Stop 3. Christ Church Cathedral- At this stop you can explore one of the great Cathedrals and one of the most imposing buildings of its type in Australia. Stop 4. Anzac Memorial Walk & Lookout- Experience Newcastle’s newest piece of tourism infrastructure, and one of the most spectacular coastal walks in Australia. Stop 5. Merewether Surfhouse- Enjoy time at the Merewether Ocean Baths (don't forget your swimmers and towel) or beach, visit the local cafes and pubs or wander along the foreshore. Refreshments can be enjoyed atop this venue’s picturesque deck. Return. Jump back aboard the coach at Merewether to return to the Newcastle Cruise Terminal.
