Wrecks Kayak Tour- Double Kayak
Take a guided kayak tour out to the Tangalooma Wrecks, 15 dramatic ship wrecks which are home to a large variety of tropical reef fish, brightly coloured coral and marine life. These ships were scuttled by the Queensland Government between 1963 and 1984 to provide safe anchorage on the eastern side of Moreton Island for small watercraft. Coral has now formed in and around the wrecks forming an artificial reef and haven for marine life.
Your tour begins with a short safety briefing before taking your kayak out into the pristine waters of Moreton Island and heading out to the wrecks, passing stunning white sandy beaches and spotting marine life along the way.
