Huon Valley & Tahune Airwalk

Take a walk on the wild side at Tahune AirWalk, the longest treetop walk in the world. Your tour begins as you board your coach in Hobart on your way to the picturesque Huon Valley. First things first, relax in the Huon Manor Bistro, looking out over the Huon River, and enjoy a light morning tea including sandwiches, quiche, cakes, biscuits, fruit, tea and coffee. Now it’s time to start the Tahune Airwalk which is sure to be a highlight of your holiday. Walk high up amongst the treetops, up to 30 metres above the forest floor. Breath in the incredibly fresh forest air as you peer out at the forest canopy. The very last section of the walk, the cantilever, stands at an impressive 50 meters above the river below. It’s a glorious view that will leave you in awe. On your way back to the cruise ship you’ll drive along the scenic Derwent River. Special Notes: Guests with visual or hearing impairments or travelling in a wheelchair must travel with a companion at all times. Some areas of the Forest & Heritage Centre are not wheelchair accessible. To make your adventure as enjoyable as possible please wear comfortable, flat-soled shoes, clothing suitable for the weather conditions, bring a towel, a hat, plenty of sunscreen and bottled water.
