The Great Sandy Strait is home to abundant marine and bird life. As you travel through through these safe, protected waterways you will be joining the search for resident marine life such as dolphins, dugongs, sea turtles, stingrays.
A local Aboriginal guide shares his knowledge of the Great Sandy Strait, and K’Gari (Fraser Island) providing you with a unique cultural experience. You will be captivated as he shares stories from the oldest surviving culture on Earth.
The vessel is proudly named “Milbi” which carries the Butchulla meaning for ‘sea turtle’. At 12 metres in length, the Milbi is one of the largest glass bottom vessels in Australia. She is eco friendly with low carbon impact, stable, and offers comfortable seating whilst being gentle on the water. The vessel is custom designed with large glass panels allowing a clear view of the marine life below.
Guests must be able to access the vessel by ramp from the beach on their own.
