Next, Travel to Mermaid Leather -this is the only place in Australia that tans fish skins--and is one of only nine such facilities in the world. Now you have your shopping out of the way, continue along the coast making a short stop at Pink Lake lookout a salt plain which, in the right weather conditions, appears pink due to the high concentration of salt-tolerant algae. From here travel on to Cape Le Grand National Park one of the highlights of the local area and indeed one of Western Australia's most spectacular National Parks. Stop at Lucky Bay - Voted Australia’s Whitest Beach as you enjoy a light lunch. Next, travel through to Hellfire Bay and Le Grand Beach before heading back to the town.
Your visit to Esperance is not complete without a stop at Stonehenge, the newest attraction in Esperance, a full size replica made from local granite stone. Depending on time there may be a chance for a quick dip after lunch at Lucky Bay so don’t forget your swimmers.
