Light to Light Walk

Travel south to your starting point at Boyds Tower - constructed as a lighthouse in 1847 by an early British entrepreneur Benjamin Boyd. The Government of the day never approved it and it was only ever used as a whale spotting tower. It is an easy 400m walk to the tower and lookout with spectacular views over Twofold Bay. You will then walk 4.6 km along the coast from Boyds Tower to Leatherjacket Bay. The coastline is rugged and beautiful with cliffs formed 360 million years ago featuring undulating red rocks and colourful banded sections. Along the way you may see iconic Australian animals such as the swamp wallaby, goanna and wombat. Your experienced guide will point out the intereseting flora and fauna along the way. On arrival at picturesque Leatherjacket Bay, enjoy an Australian morning tea before taking a short drive on a 4WD track to rejoin the sealed road back to Eden
