Explore Australia's Coastal Wilderness with a visit to Davidson Whaling Station and Boyd's Tower including refreshments. Take a short sightseeing tour around the fishing town of Eden before heading towards Ben Boyd National Park. First stop is Loch Garra home of George Davidson and his family and the site of the Davidson Whaling Station. From Loch Garra its an easy walk down to the banks of the Kiah Inlet to visit the remains of the Whaling Station. See remnants of the whaling days with a whaling pot, oil tanks and other relics. Next, travel to Boyd's Tower, a lighthouse built in the 1840's. Hear the history of eccentric entrepreneur Benjamin Boyd who built the tower before making your way back to Eden with a quick visit to Boyd Town and the Sea Horse Inn the centre pierce of the Boyd Empire where you'll enjoy a stroll along the foreshore and the chance to take some great photos of this beautiful establishment.
