Territory Wildlife Park

Take a walk on the walk side as you venture to the Territory Wildlife Park. Set in 1,000-acres of bush, the park showcases native Australian animals housed in their natural environments . There is plenty to see and do including the flight deck featuring the magnificent birds of prey. View reptiles, dingoes, wallabies and barramundi. The park also boasts an aquarium with an underwater walk. Pass the rock hole and billabong exhibits featuring water monitors, freshwater crocodile, and turtles. Visit the Monsoon vine forest walk which provides an abundance of food to the birds that live in the large domed walk through aviaries. In the nocturnal house see some of the common, rare and endangered native nocturnal animals of this region. Many of these animals are rarely seen in the wild. Given the sheer size of the park it is recommended to see those exhibits that interest you most first. A free shuttle train runs around the parks 4km loop road. Don't forget money for refreshments and snacks.
