Skyrail and Kuranda Village

Cairns is surrounded by a natural wonderland, the world famous Great Barrier Reef on one side and equally beautiful rainforest hinterland on the other. Tear yourself away from the water and be rewarded with one of the world’s most beautiful rainforest experiences. Board a six-person gondola cabin and take a skyrail ride through the lush rainforest. The views are breath taking as you glide over the rainforest just meters above the canopy. Then, explore Aboriginal town, Kuranda ‘the village in the rainforest’ with arts and craft market stalls (open Wednesday to Sunday) shaded by giant fig trees. Return via air-conditioned coach transfer. Special Notes: - Please wear comfortable flat-soled shoes, clothing suited to the weather conditions, a hat and jacket, plenty of biodegradable sunscreen and bring bottled water. - Guests who suffer from vertigo, have a fear of heights or claustrophobia should consider carefully before committing to this tour. - Ensure you bring along extra cash or credit card to purchase lunch during free time in Kuranda. - Please note the market stalls are open Wednesday to Sunday only. - Order of sights may vary on the day.
