Green Island Eco Adventure
One of the seven natural wonders of the world and the largest living thing on Earth, don’t miss your chance to explore the Great Barrier Reef. Green Island is the Great Barrier Reef’s only island that features a rainforest, offering you the unique opportunity of a combined reef and rainforest experience all in one.
Your tour begins as you board a catamaran and ride across the Coral Sea. Arrive at Green Island, a tropical paradise that’s home to over 120 native plant species, colourful bird life and surrounded by coral gardens teeming with marine life.
Guests can choose between two activities, a glass bottom boat coral viewing tour or hiring snorkel gear to dive in for a closer look. There’s also the magical rainforest to wander through, a white-sand beach to relax on and the island’s well-appointed day visitor facilities to make use of.
Special Notes:
A refundable deposit is required to hire snorkel gear. To make sure your adventure is as enjoyable as possible please wear your swimsuit under your clothes, wear comfortable, flat-soled shoes, clothing appropriate to the weather conditions, bring a towel, a hat, plenty of sunscreen and bottled water.
