Ngilgi Cave & Cape Naturaliste Lighthouse

Secreted beneath the limestone ridge forming Cape Naturaliste, lies Ngilgi Cave at Yallingup. First opened to the public in 1900, the cave was originally known as Yallingup Cave, but was renamed to Ngilgi, after the Aboriginal legend describing the battle between a good spirit (Ngilgi) and an evil spirit (Wolgine). Ngilgi Cave is one of Geographe Bay's star attractions and as you explore its hidden treasures including stunning stalactite, stalagmite and helicitite, you’ll find out why. Uncover Ngilgi Cave's fascinating history as you visit an interpretive area of the cave. From underground to 123 metres above sea level, your return to Busselton includes a visit to Cape Naturaliste Lighthouse for sweeping views over Geographe Bay and the Indian Ocean.
