Ngilgi Cave & Cape Naturaliste Lighthouse

The Ngilgi Cave at Yallingup lies beneath the limestone ridge which forms Cape Naturaliste. First opened to the public in 1900, it was originally known as Yallingup Cave and renamed to Ngilgi after the Aboriginal legend describing the battle between a good spirit (Ngilgi) and an evil spirit (Wolgine). Ngilgi Cave is one of Geographe Bay's star attractions. Explore its hidden treasures including stunning stalactite, stalagmite and helicitite and find out why. Uncover Ngilgi Cave's fascinating history at the cave’s interpretive area. From underground to 123 metres above sea level, visit Cape Naturaliste Lighthouse for sweeping views over Geographe Bay and the Indian Ocean. Special Notes: Please wear comfortable flat-soled shoes, clothing suited to the weather conditions, a hat and jacket, plenty of biodegradable sunscreen and bring bottled water. This tour does not include a visit to the top of the Lighthouse.
