Tracing the coastline from Busselton, head to neighbouring Dunsborough. Here you can wander this popular town’s boutiques or soak up stunning beach views. Continuing along Geographe Bay, discover the glassy waters and tranquil coves of Castle Rock, Meelup Beach and Eagle Bay before arriving at Cape Naturaliste Lighthouse, for sweeping Indian Ocean views. Next is the small town of Yallingup. As you watch the surf crash into the reef behind sheltered Yallingup Beach Lagoon, you’ll realise why pro-surfer Taj Burrow and 300 other surfers call Yallingup home. Passing the vineyards and breweries along Caves Road, a stop at Canal Rocks offers a chance to see ancient granite formations that have eroded in spectacular geological fashion. Before returning to Busselton, drop in to one of the many local wineries, for a taste of their award-winning vino and a chance to take some home.
