Hidden beneath the picturesque farmland of Gunns Plains is a fascinating world of caves, sinkholes and underground streams. See stunning cave formations, rich colours and sparking crystals. The caves feature some of the largest limestone shawl formations in the Southern Hemisphere, an underground stream and glow-worm display.
Continue to the magnificent Leven Canyon, take a short walk and look out over the 250m deep below. The Leven Canyon is on the Leven River which runs through 300m high limestone cliffs carved through the Loongana Range, down to Bass Strait. The viewing platform offers spectacular views of Black Bluff, the Canyon and the surrounding areas.

- This tour is not recommended for guests using wheelchair.
- There are approximately 200 steps in the cave. Descend a steep flight of concrete steps. From here the pathway is fairly level apart from a short ladder to climb down. The route through the cave is 275 metres long. Occasional dampness underfoot is not troublesome provided guests wear flat-soled walking shoes. Not recommended for guests with health or mobility issues.
- Please wear comfortable flat-soled shoes, clothing suited to the weather conditions, a hat and jacket, plenty of biodegradable sunscreen and bring bottled water.
