Stradbroke Island 4WD Escapade

Venture out to one of Brisbane’s jewels, North Stradbroke Island. Spectacular scenery, relaxing beaches and an exciting 4WD off road adventure, is sure to be a great way to spend the day. Travel by ferry to North Stradbroke Island. Enjoy the short scenic crossing through the bay. Once you arrive on the Island the real fun begins. Drive on the sandy beaches, view hidden lakes and drive down bush tracks for a real "off the beaten track" experience. Enjoy the best views and some of the most photographed beaches on Queensland’s coastline. During the afternoon you can swim in fresh water lakes or the South Pacific Ocean and Coral Sea or just simply relax on the sandy beach and take in the abundant beauty. Make a visit the local lookout and revel in the peace and serenity of this natural and remote location. Special Notes: - The 4WD vehicle offers bench style seating (length ways), you must be able to step up into the vehicle. The transfer from the pier to the ferry is via a small mini van NOT 4WD. 4WD will only operate on Stradbroke Island. - Please wear comfortable flat-soled shoes, clothing suited to the weather conditions, a hat and jacket, plenty of biodegradable sunscreen and bring bottled water. - Guests are advised to take swimwear and a towel - Travel is on unsealed sections of road and sand and may be a bumpy ride.
