Travel westward up rugged forest trails to Tamborine Mountain, enjoy spectacular views along the way. At the top, take a refreshing and leisurely walk through sub-tropical rainforest to a waterfall and be fascinated by the variety of unique fauna and flora including ferns, palms, elkhorns, staghorns, orchids and giant strangler figs. You might take an off-road track if conditions permit on the day. After morning tea, take a stroll along the famous Tamborine Mountain “Gallery Walk” with its many local arts and crafts, collectibles and gift shops. Visit a local winery for a formal tasting of fine Australian wines before the scenic return trip. Special Notes: - This tour may travel on off-road trails that may be bumpy, uneven terrain, and is recommended for guests that are in good physical condition. Driving on off-road tracks is subject to conditions on the day, if there are road closures or conditions unsuitable to use the off-road track an alternate road will be taken. - This tour is not suitable for pregnant women, guests with back and/or neck problems, limited mobility, or those who utilise a wheelchair - Guests must be aged 18+ years to participate in wine tasting - Temperatures in the mountains can be 5-10 degrees cooler than in Brisbane. A warm jacket is recommended in the winter months - Please wear comfortable flat-soled shoes or hiking boots, clothing suited to the weather conditions, a hat, sunglasses and jacket, plenty of biodegradable sunscreen and bring bottled water
