National ANZAC Centre & Torndirrup National Park

Drive along Stirling Terrace, pass a number of superb Victorian buildings, including the Courthouse, Rotunda and Old Post Office. See Dog Rock, a large granite formation shaped like a dog's head that dominates Albany's CBD. Stop at Torndirrup National Park and walk to a lookout for glorious views of ‘The Gap’ and ‘Natural Bridge’. The Gap drops almost 24 metres to the raging sea while Natural Bridge resembles a huge granite suspension bridge spanning the torrent. It’s a thrilling vantage point, and for safety purposes, guests should not deviate from the marked paths. Next, take a brief city sights drive which ends at Mt. Clarence Lookout for more spectacular views of Princess Royal Harbour, King George Sound and Albany Wind Farm. Next, take a self-guided tour of the National ANZAC Centre, a new multi-million dollar museum which recognises the ANZAC legend.
