The Great Barrier Reef

Board a premier day-cruise vessel to the Great Barrier Reef for an adventure-packed day at a reef pontoon to snorkel and explore. The underwater world is filled with vibrant fish, coral and a variety of marine life. There’s a host of activities in store - swimming, snorkelling, a semi-submersible, an underwater viewing observatory, plus presentations by marine biologists. Transfer from the ship’s anchor to the pontoon is approximately two hours each way. Depending on weather conditions, spend approx 2.5 hours at the pontoon. The passage over open water is sometimes rough, so please take precautions if prone to seasickness. Special Notes: - Guests wishing to snorkel must be fully able bodied with a medium level of fitness. Certain medical conditions including lung and heart conditions may prevent participation in snorkelling activities. - Always snorkel with a buddy - never snorkel alone. - Guests must be aware that they take this tour at their own risk. While safety is paramount and every precaution is taken, swimming snorkelling and scuba activities are taken at guests own risk. - Tea and coffee is served on the catamaran. Additional beverages can be purchased at the bar onboard. - Disposable waterproof cameras are available for purchase onboard your ship. - The box jellyfish and stingers season generally starts with the onset of the wet across the top of northern Australia, usually around October and lasts until April. Stinger suits are included.
