Your adventure begins as you board your air-conditioned motorcoach and travel north of Kuala Lumpur to the renowned Batu Caves, a complex of caves considered to be one of the most popular Hindu shrines outside of India. Marvel at the 141-foot tall gilded statue of the deity Lord Murugan guarding the 272 steps that lead to the majestic Cathedral Cave. Once you climb back down, you’ll reboard your motorcoach and head into Kuala Lumpur for a visit to the Royal Selangor Visitor Center to watch skilled craftsmen create beautiful items out of pewter. Next on the agenda is a delicious buffet lunch of Malaysian favorites. After lunch, you’ll continue on to the National Museum. Built to resemble a grand Malay palace, the museum showcases Malaysia’s diverse history and culture. Tour sequence may vary to avoid congestion. Short pants, mini/short skirt & sleeveless top are not allowed at Batu Caves. The weather is hot and humid. To make your day as enjoyable as possible, please wear comfortable flat-soled shoes, clothing suited to the weather conditions, a hat, insect repellent and SPF30+ or higher factor sunscreen. Make sure to bring bottled water. Bring along poncho in case of wet weather.
