Uluwatu Tall Cliff & Bali South Coast

Begin your tour with a short drive to Sanur, a relaxing beach resort in the south Bali, where breakfast is served in Intercont Sanur Hotel. Enjoy free time at the beachfront area, great opportunities for photos before heading off. Proceed to the southernmost part of the island where the temple of Uluwatu stands high on top of a cliff top overlooking the ocean. The cheekiest inhabitants here are a group of macaque monkeys, whose antics will keep you enthralled. This temple is among the top six most important temples in Bali and is held sacred by locals. A few minutes’ drive away is Jimbaran art and craft gallery, producing stunning pieces for you to bring home as souvenir. You will have time to browse and purchase the finish product. After working up an appetite, head to Jimbaran Bay, where hundreds of fishing boats take to the water every evening. Enjoy a sumptuous seafood BBQ while admiring the stunning views of the bay. Your final stop will be at Kuta, the busiest beach resort in Bali. There are plenty of market stalls and shops, known for all kind of shopping from cheap handicrafts to t-shirts to handbags to tattoos! Take home some souvenirs before returning to port. Special Notes: Simple local toilets are available at every stop, wear clothing suitable for the tropical climate, comfortable walking shoes and take bottled water with you. To respect the local beliefs and traditions you will need to ensure that long pants or skirts are worn when entering the temple and that your shoulders are covered. Please ensure that you bring along some local currency if you wish to purchase souvenirs at any of the markets.
