Discovering Ambon City

Embark on local transportation from the harbor and experience a delightful adventure by visiting the Siwalima Museum, located in the eastern part of town. The museum provides valuable insights into the city's diverse history and traditions, allowing visitors to explore exhibits at their own pace. The museum offers a pleasant experience to taste local coffee, tea, and cakes and enjoy their taste and aroma. The next visit to the World Peace Gong Monument in Ambon Central, which serves as a symbol of "World Peace". From there, we will take a light walk across to Pattimura Park, where you can see the Monument of Kapitan Pattimura, a renowned Ambonese soldier who courageously fought against the colonizing forces of the Dutch East Indies. Then Exploring the Maranatha Church provides a meaningful experience for visitors interested in exploring the diverse history and traditions of Ambon and its surrounding areas. Re-board the coach for a visit and photo stop at the Commonwealth World War II Cemetery, which is set in a tranquil park-like setting shaded by giant trees. The next stop is the Martha Christina Tiahahu Statue. She is the first Nusantara female to stand up against Dutch colonialism, and a statue that stands 8 meters tall was built and dedicated to her and the freedom fighters in Ambon.
